I’m now officially part of the Hall of Fame at IT’S ART! It’s my painting The Lorse and the girl that got choosen as Hall of Fame June 09
Further more so was the same painting awarded with Fantasyana award June 09 at FANTASYANA!
A huge thank you to Patrice Leymarie at IT’S ART and Fabio Caserini(Case) at Fantasyana for the feature!
I’m truly honored and very happily surprised! I’ve been ill with a cold this week (keeping the family awake all night with my coughing) so this was a well needed boost for me.

I finally finished the long awaited (haha, at least by me) Lionhorse-Lorse painting. It’s up in the gallery if you want a closer look. I used some references; the lions head, the girls face and horses anatomy pictures. Many custom brushes y used brushes very soon, I’ll let you know.
The past month has been very busy, hardly no time for personal painting. It’s been exam time here in Sweden, lots of baking & cooking for the parties. Also, we had a big holiday, midsummer’s eve, that’s when we crazy swedes dance around a huge fallos symbol and eat pickled herring with fresh potatoes and lots of strawberries with cream for dessert. Alcohol is consumed and over consumed…
Now, things are slowing down again and the summer holiday begin, hopefully with more time for painting.
We are building a new house and we are at meetings with the building crew almost every week, very exciting, but oh, the money…

Kitty angel was the workname for my newest painting, proper name “Innocuous”. This was just ment to be a warm up speedy, because I needed a brake from the Lionhorse(see previous post), but I spent a little more time on this. about 4 hours.Jump to the Gallery to see a larger view and a close up.
